ऋक्षावानरशार्दूलैर्नखदंष्ट्रायुधैरपि। कराग्रैश्चरणाप्रैश्च वानरैरुद्धतं रजः॥ भीममन्तर्दधे लोकं निवार्य सवितुः प्रभाम्।

ṛkṣāvānaraśārdūlairnakhadaṃṣṭrāyudhairapi| karāgraiścaraṇāpraiśca vānarairuddhataṃ rajaḥ|| bhīmamantardadhe lokaṃ nivārya savituḥ prabhām|

English Meaning

The mighty dust raised by bears, monkeys, and tigers, having for their weapons nails and teeth, with the foreparts of their feet and hands, enveloped the world, and the splendour of the sun was obscured.
