दृश्यमाने भवेत् प्रीतिः सौहृदं नास्त्यदृश्यतः। नाशयन्ति कृतघ्नास्तु न रामो नाशयिष्यति॥
dṛśyamāne bhavet prītiḥ sauhṛdaṃ nāstyadṛśyataḥ| nāśayanti kṛtaghnāstu na rāmo nāśayiṣyati||
English Meaning
Or people have fancy for what they see and are which disappear as soon as the object is out of sight. The ungrateful are capable of renouncing their love, but not Rāma.
