Verse 19.13

तरुणौ रूपसम्पनौ सुकुमारौ महाबलौ। पुण्डरीकविशालाक्षौ चीरकृष्णाजिनाम्बरौ॥ फलमूलाशनौ दान्तौ तापसौ ब्रह्मचारिणौ। पुत्रौ दशरथस्यास्तां भ्रातरौ रामलक्ष्मणौ॥ गन्धर्वराजप्रतिमौ पार्थिवव्यञ्जनान्वितौ। देवौ वा दानवावेतौ न तर्कयितुमुत्सहे ॥

taruṇau rūpasampanau sukumārau mahābalau| puṇḍarīkaviśālākṣau cīrakṛṣṇājināmbarau|| phalamūlāśanau dāntau tāpasau brahmacāriṇau| putrau daśarathasyāstāṃ bhrātarau rāmalakṣmaṇau|| gandharvarājapratimau pārthivavyañjanānvitau| devau vā dānavāvetau na tarkayitumutsahe ||

English Meaning

Tender, and endowed with beauty, possessed of youth and gifted with great strength, with expansive eyes resembling white lotuses; clad in bark and dark dear-skins subsisting on fruits and roots, having their senses under control; leading an ascetic life and a Brahmacarya mode of existence; there are two sons of Dasaratha the brothers Räma and Lakşmaņa resembling the Sovereign of the Gandharvas, and marked with signs betokening royalty. I cannot ascertain whether they be celestial, or human beings.
