قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبۡلُ فِيٓ أَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِينَ
Qaalooo innaa kunnaa qablu feee ahlinaa mushfiqeen
English Translation
They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allah]
