हनूमतस्तु तद्वाक्यं न कृतं क्षुद्रया मया॥ यद्यहं तस्य पृष्ठेन तदायासमनिर्जिता। नाद्यैवमुशोचेयं भर्तुरङ्कगता सती॥
hanūmatastu tadvākyaṃ na kṛtaṃ kṣudrayā mayā|| yadyahaṃ tasya pṛṣṭhena tadāyāsamanirjitā| nādyaivamuśoceyaṃ bharturaṅkagatā satī||
English Meaning
Fool that I am I did not then act agreeably to Hanumān's words. If I had gone away seated on his back, without waiting for the victory (of my lord). I devoted to him placed on his lap, should not have come by this repentance.
