स तु पवनसुतो निहत्य शत्रून् क्षतजवहाः सरितश्च संविकीर्य। रिपुवधजनितश्रमो महात्मा मुदमगमत्कपिभिः सुपूज्यमानः॥
sa tu pavanasuto nihatya śatrūn kṣatajavahāḥ saritaśca saṃvikīrya| ripuvadhajanitaśramo mahātmā mudamagamatkapibhiḥ supūjyamānaḥ||
English Meaning
That high-souled offspring of the Wind-god, having slain his foes, and come under the influence of fatigue incident to his slaughtering his enemies, having caused rivers of gore to flow (in the field), experienced the excess of joy on being honoured of the monkeys.
