असुरा वा महावीर्या वानरा वा महाबलाः। सुराश्चापि सगन्धर्वाः पुरस्कृत्य शतक्रतुम्॥ नेमं मोक्षयितुं शक्काः शरबन्धं सुदारुणम्। मायाबलादिन्द्रजिता निर्मितं क्रूरकर्मणा ॥ एते नागाः काद्रवेयास्तीक्ष्णदंष्ट्रा विषोल्बणाः। रक्षोमायाप्रभावेण शरभूतास्त्वदाश्रयाः॥
asurā vā mahāvīryā vānarā vā mahābalāḥ| surāścāpi sagandharvāḥ puraskṛtya śatakratum|| nemaṃ mokṣayituṃ śakkāḥ śarabandhaṃ sudāruṇam| māyābalādindrajitā nirmitaṃ krūrakarmaṇā || ete nāgāḥ kādraveyāstīkṣṇadaṃṣṭrā viṣolbaṇāḥ| rakṣomāyāprabhāveṇa śarabhūtāstvadāśrayāḥ||
English Meaning
Neither the highly powerful Asuras, nor the exceedingly strong monkeys, nor the celestials along with the Gandharvas, having him of an hundred sacrifices at their head are, capable of delivering (any one) from these dreadful arrowy bonds, which had been forged by Indrajit of tortous deeds by help of illusion. These serpentsoffspring of Kadru-are sharp-fanged and venomous; and had bound you as arrows through the potency of illusion.
