yatra tiṣṭhati dharmajñastapasā svena bhāvitaḥ| merusāvarṇirityeṣa khyāto cai brahmaṇā samaḥ|| ||
English Meaning
There dwells there the righteous and famous Merusāvarani, sanctified by virtue of his own ascesticism, and like to Brahmā himself*. *Like to Prajāpati dwelling by Mahameru.
