दृष्ट्वा च विमलं व्योम गतविद्युबलाहकम्। सारसारावसंघुष्टं विललापातया गिरा॥ आसीनः पर्वतस्याग्रे हेमधातुविभूषिते। शारदं गगनं दृष्ट्वा जगाम मनसा प्रियाम्॥
dṛṣṭvā ca vimalaṃ vyoma gatavidyubalāhakam| sārasārāvasaṃghuṣṭaṃ vilalāpātayā girā|| āsīnaḥ parvatasyāgre hemadhātuvibhūṣite| śāradaṃ gaganaṃ dṛṣṭvā jagāma manasā priyām||
English Meaning
And beholding the clear sky void of lightnings and clouds and filled with the noise of Sārasas, Rāghava began to lament piteously, stationing himself on the summit of the hill ornamented with metals of golden hue. And beholding the autumnal sky he engaged in the meditation of his beloved spouse.
