निद्रा शनैः केशवमभ्युपैति दुतं नदी सागरमभ्युपैति। हृष्टा बलाका धनमभ्युपैति कान्ता सकामा प्रियमभ्युपैति ॥

nidrā śanaiḥ keśavamabhyupaiti dutaṃ nadī sāgaramabhyupaiti| hṛṣṭā balākā dhanamabhyupaiti kāntā sakāmā priyamabhyupaiti ||

English Meaning

(In this part of the year) sleep is gradually overcoming the great God Nārāyaṇa, the river is flowing speedily towards the ocean, the delighted cranes are approaching the clouds and the damsels are proceeding towards their lovers.
