हयान् काञ्चनसंनाहान् रथयुक्तान् ससारथीन्। गजांश्च सगजारोहान् सहयान् सादिनस्तदा॥ चिच्छिदुर्बिभिदुश्चैव रामबाणा गुणच्युताः। पदातीन् समरे हत्वा अनयद् यमसादनम्॥
hayān kāñcanasaṃnāhān rathayuktān sasārathīn| gajāṃśca sagajārohān sahayān sādinastadā|| cicchidurbibhiduścaiva rāmabāṇā guṇacyutāḥ| padātīn samare hatvā anayad yamasādanam||
English Meaning
And the arrows of Rāma discharged from the string pierced and cut off steeds mailed in gold, yoked to cars, together with the charioteer; and elephants with their riders; and horsemen with horses. And slaying foot-soldiers, he despatched them to the abode of Yama.
