Verse 28.8

अनाधृष्यतमं देवमपि देवर्षिराक्षसैः। अनासाद्यैव पतितो भास्करोदयने गिरौ॥ पतितस्य कपेरस्य हनुरेका शिलातले। किंचिद्भिना दृढहनुर्हनूमानेष तेन वै॥

anādhṛṣyatamaṃ devamapi devarṣirākṣasaiḥ| anāsādyaiva patito bhāskarodayane girau|| patitasya kaperasya hanurekā śilātale| kiṃcidbhinā dṛḍhahanurhanūmāneṣa tena vai||

English Meaning

And, not getting that god, incapable of being subdued by the deities, saints and Rākṣasas, he dropped down on the Ascending-hill. And thereat a jaw of that strong jawed one was little fractured on the rock, and he is called Hanuman in consequence.
