Verse 22.50

स तदा क्रियते सेतुर्वानरै?रकर्मभिः॥ दण्डानन्ये प्रगृह्णन्ति विचिन्वन्ति तथापरे। वानरैः शतशस्तत्र रामस्याज्ञापुरः सरैः॥ मेघाभैः पर्वताभैश्च तृणैः काष्ठैर्वबन्धिरे। पुष्पिताग्रैश्च तरुभिः सेतुं बध्नन्ति वानराः॥

sa tadā kriyate seturvānarai?rakarmabhiḥ|| daṇḍānanye pragṛhṇanti vicinvanti tathāpare| vānaraiḥ śataśastatra rāmasyājñāpuraḥ saraiḥ|| meghābhaiḥ parvatābhaiśca tṛṇaiḥ kāṣṭhairvabandhire| puṣpitāgraiśca tarubhiḥ setuṃ badhnanti vānarāḥ||

English Meaning

Then he set about constructing the bridge with the assistance of monkeys of dreadful deeds. And some took the measuring rod, and others bore (timber tea the sea). And by help of hundreds of monkeys following Rama's mandate, hued like clouds or mountains, (they) constructed a bridge with grass, and wood. And the monkeys made the bridge of trees with blossoming tops.
