ūcuḥ surāsurāḥ sarve tadā vigrahamāgatāḥ| prekṣamāṇā mahāyuddhaṃ vākyaṃ bhaktyā prahṛṣṭavat||
English Meaning
As they looked on the mighty encounter, the celestials and the Asuras, who had come to the conflict, from feeling of regard,* Cheerfully spoke (these words). *i.e. each party out of regard for the warrior to whom it wished well.
