रक्ष्यमाणा सुघोराभी राक्षसीभिरनिन्दिता। एकवेणीधरा बाला रामदर्शनलालसा ॥ उपवासपरिश्रान्ता मलिना जटिला कृशा।

rakṣyamāṇā sughorābhī rākṣasībhiraninditā| ekaveṇīdharā bālā rāmadarśanalālasā || upavāsapariśrāntā malinā jaṭilā kṛśā|

English Meaning

That blameless one is guarded by dreadful Räkşasīs. The girl wear a single braid of hair, and burn to attain a sight of Rāma. She is faint in consequence of fasting, and dirty, wear matted locks and is emaciated.
