मयं महात्मा मतिमानुवाच। मिदं वचः कर्म च मेऽनुरूपम्॥
mayaṃ mahātmā matimānuvāca| midaṃ vacaḥ karma ca me'nurūpam||
English Meaning
This highly intellectual and high-souled one spoke to me Do you range at large, I do not wish to destroy you. Such words were really becoming of him, O Rāma. And these words and this action become me (vile as I am).
