Verse 29.14

त्रीन् पदानथ भिक्षित्वा प्रतिगृह्य च मेदिनीम्। आक्रम्य लोकाँल्लोकार्थी सर्वलोकहिते रतः॥ महेन्द्राय पुनः प्रादानियम्य बलिमोजसा। त्रैलोक्यं स महातेजाश्चक्रे शक्रवशं पुनः॥

trīn padānatha bhikṣitvā pratigṛhya ca medinīm| ākramya lokā~llokārthī sarvalokahite rataḥ|| mahendrāya punaḥ prādāniyamya balimojasā| trailokyaṃ sa mahātejāścakre śakravaśaṃ punaḥ||

English Meaning

And then asking for as much earth as could be covered by three footsteps, that one ever engaged in the welfare of all creatures; with the object of compassing the good of all, stood occupying the worlds. And having by his power restrained Bali, that one of exceeding energy, again conferred the three worlds upon the mighty Indra, and made them subject to his control.
