विक्रीडंश्च क्वचिद् भूमौ पुनरेव निषीदति। आश्रमद्वारमागम्य मृगयूथानि गच्छति॥ मृगयूथैरनुगतः पुनरेव निवर्तते। सीतादर्शनमाकाङ्क्षन् राक्षसो मृगतां गतः॥
vikrīḍaṃśca kvacid bhūmau punareva niṣīdati| āśramadvāramāgamya mṛgayūthāni gacchati|| mṛgayūthairanugataḥ punareva nivartate| sītādarśanamākāṅkṣan rākṣaso mṛgatāṃ gataḥ||
English Meaning
Sometimes playing around, sometimes lying on earth and sometimes following the deer-herd having come within the thresh hold of the asylum and then followed again by them that Rākṣasa assuming the form of a deer came back to see Sītā.
